North Harbour Women and Sea Wolf Grey Men have took out the respective Under 18 Auckland League finals last night. The North Harbour women added to their medal haul with a 10-4 victory over Marist Red.
Waitakere A took the bronze in the Under 18 women with a 7-2 win over North Harbour B.
Marist Blue claimed 5th with a one-goal margin over their White team, whilst Mountfort Park showed considerable improvement over the season going down 8-9 to Waitakere B.
Sea Wolf Grey took out their first gold medal in history by virtue of a 11-5 win over North Harbour A in the Under 18 Men's final. Marist Red took out the bronze by beating Waitakere A 17-11, with Marist Blue beating Marist White 15-12 for 5th. Waitakere B finished 7th from Sea Wolf Black and North Harbour B.
The Auckland Championships this year saw three different clubs capturing the gold medals. Sea Wolf, Marist, and North Harbour: signalling that next week's Pan Pacs will be intensely fought by these Auckland clubs.
